Mastermind Studios and the Actsafe Safety Association have partnered to offer the Motion Picture Safety Awareness Course in Kamloops, BC, saving local TNRD residents the added cost of travelling to Vancouver along with other expenses in order to become qualified to work in the Motion Picture Industry.

This 4 hour general safety workshop is designed specifically for the motion picture and television industry.

This course is great for beginners and veterans alike. Mastermind Studios is hard at work bringing more of the motion picture and creative media economy to the BC Interior. Make sure you are prepared and included by taking this safety course.

More About this Course

Participants are NOT required to join a Motion Picture Industry union to take this course, however, should someone wish to do so, this course is required by all BC Film Unions including the Directors Guild of Canada as well as a permittee with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 669 (IATSE 669), the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 891 (IATSE 891) and the Teamsters Local 155.
