Tristan Whitney-Whittaker proudly identifies as a member of the Tsuu T’ina Nation, situated on the outskirts of Calgary, Alberta. From a young age, she was exposed to her cultural and traditional protocols. Being the granddaughter of the Chief of the Tsuu T’ina Nation, Tristan has a strong connection to her cultural heritage. As a young Indigenous woman, she strives to balance her Indigenous identity with her European heritage, and is eager to explore new avenues that can help her pursue her dreams and aspirations. She embraces opportunities that enable her to showcase her talents and create a positive impact on the world.
